The main principles of SMS exercises

The SMS exercises combine 3 important components:

movement - optimal coordination of movement

muscle apparatus - muscle chain formation in the shape of descending spirals -spiral stabilization

spinal response - centralization - allignment into the vertical axis

- traction - stretching upwards - the whole spine - in the segment - elevation of the intervertebral disc and expansion of the intervertebral joints


The main cause of back pain - vertical stabilization of movement

The main cause of back pain is increased muscle tension in vertical chains -increased tension in back muscles compresses the vetebrae against each other and creates pain.
